Dr. Jeremy Guenthner
Dr. Guenthner is from Dodge City, Kansas. He graduated from the University of Kansas in 2001 where he received his Bachelors Degree in Biology. Four years later, he earned his Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Missouri in St. Louis where he was nominated for membership to Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. He began his career at Lasik Vision Institute in St. Louis Missouri before returning to Kansas.
He opened New Vision Optometry in 2007 and currently resides in Andover with his wife. His areas of expertise are in contact lenses, ocular disease management, dry eye, and Lasik pre and post-op care.
Dr Guenthner is a member of the Kansas Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, and KOPAC. He is licensed to practice in the state of Kansas as well as Missouri. In his free time he enjoys water sports and riding his Harley.
Dr. Heather Wooten
Dr. Wooten grew up nearby in Andover, Kansas. She attended the University of Kansas where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Organismal Biology in 2000. In 2005 she completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Missouri in St. Louis. During optometry school, Dr Wooten interned at the Wichita VA hospital and the MCC Eye Institute in Pensacola, Florida.
Dr Wooten owned her own practice in west Wichita before deciding to work part time in order to spend more time with family. She enjoys many aspects of optometry including fitting contact lenses, managing eye diseases, and pediatric examinations.
Dr Wooten is a member of Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, Kansas Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, and KOPAC. In her free time she enjoys flying and scuba diving.
